A new article published in Psychotherapy Networker (Jan/Feb 2019) shines a light on the need to expand the scope of therapy to include the human – nature relationship and environmental concerns. Lauren Dockett, author of the article, interviewed several clinicians who describe how eco-anxiety, climate change concerns, and environmental melancholia are topics that are finding their way into the therapy room.
