      Welcome to the practice of Dr. Patricia H. Hasbach!

Dr. Hasbach is a licensed professional counselor and psychotherapist in Eugene, Oregon. She provides therapy and counseling services to adults, couples, and families.  In addition to traditional modes of therapy, Dr. Hasbach  offers ecotherapy which incorporates nature into the therapeutic process. Areas of specialty include treatment for depression, anxiety, relationship issues, health-related concerns, parenting issues, and concerns related to life transitions.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Hasbach consults with hospitals, police departments, schools, non-profit organizations, and various community environmental  groups.

She is a faculty member in the Department of Counseling Psychology, Graduate School of Education and Counseling at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon and in the Psychology Department at Antioch University in Seattle, Washington.

Dr. Hasbach sits on the Editorial Board of the peer-reviewed journal, Ecopsychology, published by Liebert Publishing.

Her edited volume, Ecopsychology: Science, Totems, and the Technological Species (with Peter Kahn) will be published in July 2012 by MIT Press. She is currently working on a second book for MIT Press titled, The Rediscovery of the Wild.
